sidebar-home-1A beautiful new way to vacation has recently opened in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. In March of 2010, The Nature Conservancy purchased a plot of land that would be come the Kings River Preserve. This 10 mile stretch of the King’s River is home to a host of biodiversity only found in the Ozarks.

Now the Nature Conservancy is proud to open the gorgeous Kings River Deck House & Bungalows. Net proceeds from the rental of the Deck House & Bungalows go to support conservation efforts on the King’s River. These are truly beautiful and unique vacation spots, but don’t take our work for it! Check them out for yourself:

The historic deck house, secluded on a bluff overlooking the Kings River valley, was originally built as a family retreat in 1970. Much of this can been seen in it’s vintage character and mid-century modern design. The deck house sleeps 12 and features two bedrooms, two sleeping lofts, two bathrooms, kitchen, den with fireplace and a wraparound deck with views of the Trigger Gap Valley and the Kings River Preserve. Currently, a one-mile hiking trail is being installed by volunteers form the deck house to a bluff overlooking the river.

The two charming bungalows sleep four people each and feature two bedrooms, one bathroom, porch and communal outdoor pavilion with grill. These bungalows are an added compliment to the deck house and feature the best in modern amenities.
