Eureka Springs 2018 Fourth of July Celebrations

The City of Eureka Springs was founded and named on July 4, 1879. Today it is known for it’s rich Victorian history. It his hard to walk down the winding streets of historic Eureka Springs and not feel transported back in time. 4th of July in Downtown Eureka Springs is filled with history, old fashioned treats and fun for the whole family!

Happy Birthday Eureka Springs Stroll

Saturday, June 30th , from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Tours will leave every 30 minutes, with tours lasting one hour.

The Eureka Springs Historical Museum presents the Happy Birthday Eureka Springs Stroll. This tour focuses on the “upper loop” of Eureka Springs. A historical character will be featured outside each home or landmark giving a brief summary of the significance of the structure pertaining to the history of Eureka Springs, and the people who resided or worked there. July 4th Celebration

A good, old fashioned 4th of July Parade winds its way through downtown Eureka Springs. Following the parade, don’t miss these great events in Basin Spring Park.

Here Is The 4th of July Schedule!

9 am Parade Line up starts

9:15 am Crowning of Ms Apple Pie 4th of July, Mr. Firecracker and their royal courts. Presenting of the Ms. Apple Pie Princesses and Future Mr. Fire Crackers.

10 am Parade Begins

After parade activities are held at the back of the parking lot between the Aud and the Courthouse and will include the following:
Apple Pie Judging and awards, Ribbons awarded in the Best Dressed Parade Dog contest, Watermelon seed spitting contest for kids and adults. Free watermelon!

3 pm Hot Dog Eating Contest for kids and adults at Freedom Kettle Corn Cafe 57 N. Main
