The 2019 May Festival of the Arts returns to Eureka Spring for the entire month of May. This unique, month-long festival captures everything  that we love about this small mountain town that is home to roughly 350 working artists. Chalk Street Art Festival

Basin Park Art Fair May 11-12 from 11 am to 5 pm
Basin Spring Park will be filled with a variety of artists and interactive art exhibits. Stop by to shop and play in Basin Spring Park in downtown Eureka Springs.

Chalk Art Street Festival May 14-17 
Downtown Eureka Springs, Arkansas comes to life as chalk art starts to cover the town.  All around downtown, you can watch the Chalk Artists work on their pieces And pray for dry, sunny weather!

White Street Walk May 17 from 4-10 pm
One of Eureka Springs’ most popular events, the White Street Studio Walk is attended by those seeking art while enjoying the street fair atmosphere combined with refreshments and music. White Street is on the upper historic loop.

Jazz Concert SeriesMay 4th from 5 – 7 pm and 18th from 2:30 to 5 pm
2 Free Jazz concerts in Basin Spring Park!  May 4th will feature the identical twin group Mattson 2. May 18th will be the Arthur Duncan Jazz Trio at 2:30pm followed by Grady Nichols at 5:30pm.

Steve Earle & the Dukes with Junior Brown – May 3rd at 8 PM Tickets Prices Vary
An evening with legendary artist Steve Earle and the Dukes with show opener Junior Brown. Three-time Grammy Award recipient and 11-time Grammy nominee, Earle is a cornerstone artist of Americana music. Opening act will be Junior Brown. Brown is an innovative musician whoseraucous blend of country and rock & roll has helped make him a successful crossover act.


John Two Hawks Mother’s Day Concert
– May 12 from 2 -4 pm Tickets $40
Grammy® nominated recording artist John Two-Hawks returns to Eureka Springs for what has become a Mother’s Day tradition. Join John Two-Hawks for a musical celebration of women and mothers.

Free EventsBooks in Bloom Literary Festival

Artrageous ParadeMay 4th from 2-3 pm
Colorful, quirky, energetic and sometimes surprising, the ArtRageous Parade is the traditional kick-off of the May Festival of the Arts. Join the stream of floats, art cars, walkers, dancers, musicians, jugglers, drummers, and dancers. Come early to Basin Spring Park where tables of supplies will be set up to encourage the public to make their own costumes and participate!

Cinco de Mayo CelebrationMay 5th from 10 am – 5 pm
Come and join our Cinco De Mayo celebration in Basin Spring Park from 10:00AM-5:00PM. Enjoy music from DJ Afrosia J, Papa Rap, pinata smashing, music & more.

Books in Bloom Literary Festival  – May 19 from 12 – 5 pm
The 14th Annual Books in Bloom is a celebration for writers and readers! Stop by the Crescent Hotel to join hundreds of readers. Those interested in writing can attend author presentations and have conversations with writers who are very successful in their genres, as well as, purchase books and have them signed by the authors.
