Eureka Springs Monkey Makes Tiger Friends

Eureka Springs is known as a tourist destination. It’s a funky mountain town with many fun surprises. It is here, nestled in the Ozark Mountains that a monkey will befriend 34 tigers on March 13, 2013. Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is a nationally acclaimed sanctuary for abandoned exotic animals and has recently undertaken a challenging project to make it home for 34 more large cats currently living in Mountainburg County. With over 100 big cats already living at TCWR, the need for additional housing/cages for the new rescues is now an emergency. Here is where a six pound monkey enters the story. eureka springs attractions intrigue theater turpentine creek wildlife refuge
