Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler as Eureka Gras returns for 2018!

The 13th annual Eureka Gras Mardi Gras Extravaganza returns to Eurka Springs on January 6th with the official Kings Day Kick-Off Gala. This is just the start of a great Eureka Springs annual festival which features fourteen days of scheduled events through the months of January & February.

The theme of the 2018 Eureka Gras’ celebration is The Pirates of the Caribbean. From January 6th – February 13th,  Eureka Gras will bring the good times to Eureka Springs! Here are just a few highlights of what is to come:

January 6th
Kings Day Kick-Off
Starting at 5 pm at the Rowdy Beaver, The King’s Day Kick-Off Party is the first event of Eureka Springs Mardi Gras. We introduce the Royal Court and announce the new King and Queen of Eureka Springs Mardi Gras.


January 20th
Taste of N’Awlins
From 1pm to 3pm, stop by the Grand Central Hotel and Taverne for the annual Taste of New Orleans (N’Awlins) takes you back to the French Quarter in New Orleans. Indulge in hot beignets and café au lait as you enjoy the sounds of a jazz trio.


January 10th, 17th and 24th
Umbrella Decorating
A fun and casual gathering. Join us during one of our Umbrella Decorating Parties. Everyone gets the chance to decorate their own Umbrella and create some Mardi Gras spirit. Dates and locations vary, click here for more information.


January 25th
ArtiGras
From 6 to 9 pm in the lobby of the Basin Park Hotel is the annual ArtiGras Palette to Palette. This year’s theme is Pirates of the Caribbean. $45 will get you a night of painting and Eureka Gras fun! Click here for more information.

February 2nd
Coronation Ball
This year’s Coronation Ball starts at 6 pm at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center. The Coronation Ball is a Grand Royal Procession followed by dinner and dancing with music by Doghouse Daddy.


February 3rd
Eureka Gras Lights & Sound Night Parade
Join us for our night lights and sound parade at 6 pm in downtown Eureka Springs. Themed floats, walkers, and dancers will parade through downtown Eureka to the sound of Mardi Gras music.


Black Light Ball

Black Light Ball
After the night parade, It’s the 5th Annual Black Light Ball! Let a body artist paint you with glow in the dark paint, don a glow necklace and celebrate Mardi Gras! Music will be spinning, lights will be flashing all for a great cause – Main Street Eureka Springs.


February 9th
Jokers’ Masquerade Ball
This year’s Jokers’ Masquerade Ball starts at 6 pm at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center.A Fabulous costume ball that fills the Eureka Springs Convention Center. We have a Royal Mini Parade, buffet, dancing, and costume contest.

February 10th
Eureka Gras Costume Day Parade
Starting at 2 pm Downtown on Spring and Main Streets, the Costume Day Parade is a themed parade that is fun for all ages. The Royalty will be there, along with themed floats, walkers, bands, dancers, and animals. The parade is led by the Krewe of Barkus.


February 10th
Mayor’s Ball
Starting at 6 pm in the Barefoot Ballroom at the Basin Park Hotel, this event is fun-filled with live music, 2nd line, beads, and more! Held at the historic Basin Hotel, Downtown Eureka Springs the event will offer light appetizers and a cash bar. Make sure to bring your umbrellas for a 2nd line.


February 11th
Jazz Brunch
Starting at 11:30 am at the Crescent Hotel, enjoy fine dining at the Jazz Champagne Brunch in the Crystal Dining Room at the world famous Crescent Hotel. Feast on food, fun, music, and join in on the 2nd line dance.


St. Liz Cajun King Cake Ball

St. Liz Cajun King Cake Ball
Held on Fat Tuesday, the St. Liz Cajun King Cake Ball is a local favorite! The public is invited to join in this celebratory event which will be capped off by “the largest King Cake in Arkansas!” The evening will include dancing to the music of the Naturally Brass jazz combo from Bentonville, from 6:30 to 10 PM. The center will be lavishly decorated in the Mardi Gras theme. An authentic Louisiana dinner is included in the ticket price, a cash bar is also available.
